Here at Mandeville Center for Dental Excellence, we want to ensure you always feel safe and cared for in our office. We understand that there are many uncertainties in the world right now, but we want your dental healthcare to be one thing you can count on. That is why we are thrilled to be able to reopen to all of our patients. You can feel confident about getting back to your dental care routine, knowing that our office is one of the safest, cleanest places to be!
The safety of you, our patients, and our team is our first priority. In order to reopen our doors, we have made a few alterations and are taking additional precautions in accordance with national, state, and local guidelines. For example, we will be asking you to let us know when you arrive for your appointment by calling our office. A member of our team will walk out to you to take your temperature and screen you for your visit. Of course, if you are feeling sick we ask that you stay home and reschedule your appointment for when you are feeling better! Also, once in the office, we are asking our patients to keep a safe distance of 6 feet from others when not in the operatory.
Our office already has a rigorous and thorough sanitation routine in place, and now we have upped our sanitation procedures. We have also added additional devices that allow us to keep everyone who walks through our doors safe and healthy. One of the new devices we have added is the Isolite Barrier. This device helps prevent the spread of disease with consistent suction which, in turn, reduces the risk of transmitting illness by depressing the spray of saliva and the bacteria and viruses that come with it.
You’ll probably also notice that our team will be wearing more Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to prevent contamination. We may be more covered up, but we are still the same friendly team you know and love! These are just a few ways we are doing our part to keep our community safe and help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
